Focus on Jesus Christ

What if we commit a sin while being in this state of holiness?

First of all, that sin is not taken into account because the Bible reveals in Romans 7:8 “…apart from the law sin is dead.” Why?

It is because the law has been terminated. So, sin is dead. Does that mean we can go on sinning? No, not at all!!! Because as mentioned earlier we are dead to sin. So, we can never live in it. The worst part of the law is that it always makes you conscious of sin but it doesn’t have the power to stop you from sinning. So, the law had to be aborted so that we can be conscious of Christ. Now the focus is not in ourselves or the law it is only one person i.e., Christ as 1 Corinthians 1:29–30 says, “so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God¬ — that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.”
