Being Christ-Centred

--

Christ, Himself said I will never leave you nor forsake you.“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) The Greek word for ‘what you have’ is ‘pareimi’ which is a combination of two words ‘para’ means ‘alongside’ and ‘eimi’ means ‘to be’, so our dependence is not on money but being alongside our Lord and Master and that is why the Lord said that you can do nothing without me (John 15:5). Here we have to set the Lord in our imagination and thoughts.

Always imagine with your mind to see the Lord is by your side. Always keep an imaginary picture of Lord Jesus Christ in your mind; besides, see and contemplate Christ always with you, in you and around you. I strongly believe in these days there will be multiple visions of Jesus Christ.

David said “I have set the LORD always before me.Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”(Psalm 16:8).

David was a man after God’s own heart because he always saw the Lord by his side. Every battle he won because he had an imaginary picture of the Lord by his side. We know that he knew, the Lord was always by his side and he wrote in his psalms that ‘the Lord is my shepherd.’ Even when he was going through difficulties he saw the Lord always by his side. So he was never moved by it.

So when you have a big problem, place Jesus Christ over the problem and see Christ crushing that problem.
